Why Turing Fest?

The people in the room matter.

Most conferences put thousands of people in a building and hope useful conversations happen. We take the opposite approach. Every founder, investor, operator and partner at Turing Fest is there because they're actively building, backing or scaling ambitious technology companies.

Everyone in the room is there for a reason.

We made direct hires from connections at the conference and met one of our key US investors there, which also opened up lots of sales opportunities.

It's very rare to have the quality of attendees that you find at Turing, and that's what makes this the best tech event in Europe.

The lineup

Great speakers. Better conversations.

We favour conversation over presentation, and roundtables over lectures. You'll hear from 50+ exceptional founders, investors and operators - and spend more time talking with them than watching them.

The experience

Designed for conversations, not just content.

They happen over dinner. Walking between venues. At the party. Over coffee the next morning. Edinburgh makes those moments possible in a way larger cities rarely can - compact, walkable and immersive. People stay, people wander, and people end up in the same places. It's a big part of why founders and investors keep coming back.

Curated matchmaking

Paired by stage, sector and intent, so every conversation has a reason to happen.

Talks worth having

Keynotes and firesides chosen to spark discussion, not just fill a slot on a programme.

Built for participation

Roundtables, workshops and facilitated discussions. You contribute, not just sit and listen.

A room capped at 300

Fixed at 300 attendees. Small enough that you actually meet the people who matter.

Year-round community

Your pass plugs you into the Turing Fest community that lives long after September.

Off-programme magic

The best moments are usually the ones that were never on the schedule.

Founder programme

Founder Day

The Biscuit Factory

Founders, operators, ecosystem and partners together, built around the three jobs of a founder.

What to build
  • When products get commoditised, what actually survives?
  • Should you build less and assemble more?
  • The first 10 hires in 2026
  • Building AI-native vs bolting AI on
  • What does a real moat look like now?
How to grow
  • If build is cheap, is distribution the only moat?
  • Is founder-led sales mandatory again?
  • Is SaaS pricing broken? How do you replace it?
  • Does brand or community matter earlier now?
How to lead
  • What does traction actually mean at Seed in 2026?
  • Should you raise less or just raise differently?
  • How do you make good decisions when everything is changing?
  • Is bootstrapping back?

The Summit

The Biscuit Factory

Founders, investors, operators and the wider ecosystem together for shared sessions and the Deal Room.

The debates
  • Is SaaS dead, dying, or just evolving?
  • Most products being built today are replaceable
  • Is distribution the only durable moat - or an overcorrection?
  • Has the fundraising bar moved - and to where?
  • AI means smaller teams - liberation or under-resourcing?
  • Europe: opportunity or structural constraint?
  • Build vs buy vs prompt
  • What does a credible exit look like in 2030?
  • Where do founders and investors genuinely disagree?
The Deal Room
Curated 1:1s between founders and investors - your schedule, your pace.
How matching works
  • Double opt-in - no awkward cold approaches
  • Up to 24 dedicated meeting slots
  • Matched by stage, sector & intent

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is the room capped? +

Signal. A 5,000-person expo means a thousand conversations that go nowhere. By capping at 200 founders and 75 investors and matching everyone by stage and intent, every introduction has a real reason to happen.

Is this an application or a straight purchase? +

Both. You can buy your ticket directly to lock in early-bird pricing - every attendee then passes a quick curation review to keep the room stage-matched. If you're not the right fit, we refund you in full.

What stage of founder is this for? +

Pre-seed through Series A founders building full-time. If you're earlier or later, email us - we'll tell you honestly whether this is your room.

What's included in the ticket? +

Full two-day access, curated matchmaking, all talks, the stage-matched dinner, and year-round Turing Fest community access. Travel and accommodation aren't included.

What's your refund policy? +

Full refund if we can't fit you to the right cohort, and free transfer to a colleague any time before the event. Early-bird tickets are otherwise non-refundable once curation is confirmed.
