Camilla Dolan founded Eka in 2018 after a decade investing in consumer companies. She began her investing career at MMC Ventures and later joined Burda Principal Investments, where she backed category-defining businesses including Bloom & Wild, Gousto, Mubi, Vinted and Etsy — companies that not only scaled, but changed consumer behaviour.
She founded Eka on the belief that the best companies improve and bring joy to everyday life, investing in founders building businesses with meaningful impact. Camilla’s interest in consumer entrepreneurship started early, buying and selling horses as a teenager, before studying law at University of Oxford and working at Bain & Company across London, San Francisco and Tokyo.
