Taavi Kotka is an Estonian entrepreneur and digital transformation advocate, currently the founder and CEO of KOOS.io, a platform empowering communities to become co-owners of companies through virtual shares. With a background as a programmer, he became Managing Director of WebMedia (now Nortal), the largest software company in the Baltics.
As Estonia’s first CIO, Taavi played a key role in the country's digital transformation, co-founding the national e-residency program and leading projects like data embassies. He also advised European Commission VP Andrus Ansip on the European Single Digital Market.
Taavi founded Unicorn Squad, a tech school for girls, in 2018, which has educated over 4,000 students across Estonia. Passionate about disruption that benefits end users, he believes in the power of execution and overcoming obstacles to drive positive change through innovation.
