Paul is Intercom’s Chief Product Officer, leading the PM, Design, Data Science and Research teams. He advised the company before joining, joined when the company was 14 people, and has been a member of the Executive team who run the company since day 1.
Before Intercom, Paul worked in Leadership, Product and UX roles at Facebook (Ads, Platform), Google (Gmail, Docs, Social, YouTube), Dyson, and in UX consultancy. He has led collaborative design projects for the world's leading brands (Nike, Starbucks, Coca-Cola, P&G…) and creative agencies (W+K, RGA…).
Paul is an author and speaker on the topics of product strategy, product execution, building a business, and social software design. He wrote a best-selling book on social software design called Grouped, keynotes many leading industry conferences, and co-hosts a podcast called Intercom on Product with Intercom co-founder Des Traynor.
