Melissa Pickering heads up the Center of Interactive Play at LEGO, leading a team of UX designers that work across the LEGO portfolio to blend digital and physical play. She has worked in the field of interactive kids products for over a decade, from innovating theme parks as a Disney Imagineer to the K12 classroom as the founder of iCreate to Educate.
For the last 4-years at LEGO she built up a design team to engage kids in physical play through digital experiences, ranging from gamified play like NEXO Knights to learning through play like Star Wars Droid Commander – and more exciting products on the horizon.
