Fiona Johnson is a Human Factors Specialist who helps companies increase productivity and performance by analysing how individuals interact with technical designs and organisational systems to develop practical, technically integrated solutions.
Fiona’s career began at the coal face, working as an electrical engineer in power generation & distribution, before entering an international career in oil & gas as a project engineer. Over the course of her technical career, Fiona recognised the criticality of understanding people’s needs within their task, their team, and their organisational culture on performance on technical outcomes. Co-founding a software business in Edinburgh in 2014, Fiona discovered the same challenges exist in software development as well.
